I've been using this great program for a long time and the one feature that I would really like to see is a block selection option (aka vertical text selection).

Many editors have this feature, like Notepad++ and MS Word with ALT+left mouse button.

block_sel.jpg I asked for this awhile ago and just wanted to bring it back up as I really miss this option.

It would be a nice feature indeed, but it's pretty complex thing too - while it can be done relatively simply in Notepad, where all characters have fixed width, in rich-text editors such feature is a rare thing, particularly, in OpenOffice is also missing due to complexity of the task. What I'm saying is that we have you feature filed as a feature request, but yet cannot say when we can implement it.
