I have two feature requests I would like to make.

1. Ability to specify additional date & time formats, such as : dddd,\n dd mmm, yyyy\n hh:nn:ss (Tuesday, January 15th, 2012 15:35.

2. Ability to define "templates" that can be inserted with a specific text-code. For example, say I want to use allmynotes to keep track of phone calls I make to when trying to resolve an issue. It would be nice to be able to define a template that could be inserted with defined 'fields' or tags, rather than me having to copy and paste it each time. For example, I could define the following template:

Regarding :

Date & Time :

Phone Number :

Spoke To :

Role (ie Tech) :

Actions / Promise :

Which could be inserted by a code .tmp1 which when typed into a note, would replace the tmp1 with the proper template.

If this is already there and I have missed it, let me know.

I too would like templates.

A workaround I use at the moment is program called Phraseexpress... You can use that for the dates too...But I'd much rather have the template functionality built in....

Good suggestion. I can see the benefit of having templates.

However, I just tried this workaround: Made a note having the necessary field titles. Saved it and named it "Phone Template".

Needing the form would be to copy the note "Phone Template", then paste it into a new note. You get the title of the main database top node (depending on where you saved the "PhoneTemplate" note) but that could be left or deleted. I suppose you could make the "template" by first inserting a table, then formatting it to suit, but I did not try that.
